Proof of funds pack
A script for the email and the branch visit, a checklist of everything the bank letter must show, a multi-account tracker, a six-month balance worksheet, and a gift letter template.
Tracks / From abroad (FSW)
Reference letters from employers back home, a bank letter that shows what it needs to, and a plan for the 60 days. For Federal Skilled Worker applicants anywhere.
Instant download. English and French editions, in Word, Google Docs, and PDF.
01 / The problem
You ask for a letter. You get a one-line certificate of service, or a letter on plain paper with no phone number and no duties. Maybe the company closed. Maybe your old manager moved on years ago.
Then there's the bank. A statement isn't a letter, and the letter has to show a lot more than today's balance.
How the 60 days go when you start lateDay
Invitation lands. You email three past employers in two countries.
Your bank says the letter takes two weeks. Nobody asked about the six-month average.
One employer sends a certificate of service. No duties, no hours.
Police certificate still processing. Your name is spelled two ways across your documents.
Deadline. No extensions for slow banks.
The people who submit on time started collecting documents before the invitation came.
02 / What it costs you
Unless you're authorized to work in Canada and have a valid job offer, you must show you have enough money to settle, both when you apply and when you land. That means an official letter from every bank and investment account where you keep it. A screenshot of your banking app won't do it.
Get it wrong and you're back at the branch, asking for a second letter, while the clock keeps running.
A printout of last month's statement.
Account ending 4471. Closing balance shown. No signature, no opening date, nothing on debts.
Missing: six-month average, debts, opening dates
The number to hit
Your family size counts you, your spouse or partner, and your dependent children, even if they aren't coming with you. The money can't be borrowed, and you have to be able to legally access it.

Guides for your situation
How this kit was built
Every requirement in the kit comes from IRCC's published guidance: its instructions for work experience letters and proof of funds, the Express Entry Year-End Report, and the official rounds of invitations data. Every number on this site names its source.
When IRCC changes a rule, the files get updated and you get the new version free.
What this isn't: advice from an immigration consultant or a lawyer. The kit is general information. If your situation is complicated, hire a licensed RCIC or lawyer. You'll still need these documents either way.

Questions
Yes. The reference letters, proof of funds pack, and roadmap apply to FSW and FST applicants wherever you live.
IRCC lets you upload a letter explaining why, plus whatever proof you have, like contracts, pay stubs, and tax records. It isn't guaranteed to be accepted. The kit includes that letter and a checklist of what to attach. If your case is unusual, talk to a licensed RCIC or lawyer.
IRCC doesn't publish a rule on gifted money. It does say you can't borrow the funds and that you must be able to legally access them. The kit explains what IRCC does say and includes a gift letter template, which is a common practice, not an IRCC form. If a large gift is involved, talk to a licensed RCIC or lawyer.
That's the best time. Bank letters and letters from past employers can take weeks, and the 60-day clock doesn't pause while you wait.
No. These are general templates and checklists. For advice on your own file, use a licensed RCIC or lawyer.
Yes, you can. IRCC publishes its rules, and the forums are full of advice. You're welcome to piece it together yourself, no hard feelings. We spent the hours reading IRCC's guides, year-end reports, and draw data, turned it into fill-in templates and checklists, and we keep it current when IRCC changes something. The $29 buys you those hours back.
No. All sales are final. It's a digital download, the files are yours the moment you buy, and a lot of research goes into building it and keeping it up to date. Read the full list of what's inside before you order.
